The Wild Resource Conservation Fund registration plate became available in February 1999. This is the second Wild Resources Conservation Fund Plate and replaces the Saw-Whet Owl Plate which has been retired. USA Semiquincentennial registration plate became available on October 29, 2020, and will only be available until December 31, 2026. Twenty-five dollars from every USA Semiquincentennial plate sold will benefit the Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial to help fund activities related to the semiquincentennial. The plate design reflects the "Family of Plates" color scheme of blue, white and yellow. Pennsylvania is printed at the top and the words "Let Freedom Ring" are printed on the bottom.
