Information Regarding Act 117 of 2006
Act 117 of 2006, enacted October 2006 and effective December2006, creates a Gold
Star Family Plate for family members of a person killed while serving on active
duty in the military for a fee of $20, which shall be in addition to the annual
registration fee and may only be used on a passenger car or truck with a
registered gross vehicle weight of not more than 10,000 pounds (Section 1365).
